    aegirine and titaniferous magnetite concentrate.

2006–2008

In November 2006, NWPC obtained state licences to develop apatite-nepheline ore deposits at the Oleniy Ruchey and Partomchorr fields in the Murmansk region. The licences were issued as a result of the tender held by the Russian Federal Subsoil Resources Management Agency in Murmansk on October 12, 2006. Leading mining engineering institute Giproruda (St. Petersburg) in cooperation with the Kolsky Scientific Centre of the Russian Academy of Sciences (Apatity) and Research and Technology Laboratory for Mineral Raw Material Enrichment Technology (Irkutsk), carried out a feasibility study for the development of the Oleniy Ruchey deposit.

In 2007 NWPC commenced design of the mine and exploration works, and acquired industrial samples of ore.

In October 2008, the design for the mine to be built at Oleniy Ruchey phosphate deposit was approved by Russian regulators, including its environmental aspect, and NWPC was issued a construction permit for the mine.

2009

Mine construction is well underway. Auxiliary office facilities are constructed at the mine site. Currently these facilities house the Kirovsk division of a separate subdivision of NWPC with all engineering services. As part of the planned transport infrastructure a paved road was laid from the mine site to the location where the open pit will be. The company finalised leveling operations and foundation work for the primary and secondary production facilities. The construction site for the crushing and sorting complex was prepared and the concrete mixing plant was installed. NWPC obtained a licence for sand-gravel aggregate production at South Kitcheyavr deposit.

Contract signed to connect NWPC to North-West electricity network.

NWPC concludes a social and economic cooperation agreement with the Kirovsk municipal administration under which it will finance the repair of residential properties and reconstruction of social infrastructure buildings in Koashva settlement.

2010

Acron Group began major financing of the Oleniy Ruchey mine. Foundations for most facilities at the site were completed, and construction began on the processing plant and ancillary facilities, open pit, tailing dump and interception drain to pass mountain water to Oleniy Ruchey and farther to Lake Kamarinoye. Komatsu mine equipment was purchased and put into operation, including excavators, bulldozers, loaders and 90-tonne heavy vehicles. A crushing and screening unit was purchased and a concrete mixer was commissioned to provide construction materials.

2011

NWPC continues construction of mine facilities, a quarry and adits. The first two facilities – an equipment and materials warehouse with assembly and storage area and the mine administration building in Koashva, have already been launched. Fifteen subcontractors are engaged in the construction. OOO Trest-2 (Veliky Novgorod) was selected as general contractor. Two thousand people work at the construction site.
