AS BCT is a state-of-the-art terminal complex at the Estonian port of Sillamäe that stores and transships ammonia and liquid mineral fertilisers. The complex’s key competitive strengths are its strategic location for Russian ammonia producers, its high-technology equipment and its ability to operate year-round, servicing vessels of up to 40,000 tonnes. |
Key Capacity of the Terminal Complex
Ammonia. The design capacity is 1 mn tpa. The terminal operates two 30,000-tonne tanks for storing ammonia. The ammonia transshipment complex was commissioned in December 2009.
UAN. The design capacity is 1 mn tpa. The terminal operates three 20,000-tonne tanks for storing UAN. The UAN transshipment complex was commissioned in March 2008.
